Pros

You will be challenged and pushed to work to the best of your ability. You will have a great resume when you leave because you will have more responsibility that the position that you were hired for.

Cons

It is really hard to meet the expectations of the people that manage you. A lot is demanded of you. You are not allowed to have a personal life and rarely get time off from work. The hours are long and the salary does not meet the industry standards.

-There are so many job openings that you can get valuable higher ed experience. -A free degree.

Cons

-Poor work/life balance. -Certain programs get preferential treatment. -Lack of transparency in senior management. -Lack of respect for employees who don't go along with the "program". -People quit so often its hard to get attached to your co-workers.
