Pros

Decent salary, incentivized overtime (they keep reducing the pay though), decent benefits. If you work with a good team, you’re just about Golden.

Cons

1. More travelers than core staff. 2. Dangerous nurse to patient ratios. 3. New hires deal with bullies. 4. Management doesn’t seem to care about actual concerns from staff, just patient satisfaction. 5. Underpaid for the job requirements. 6. Licenses at risk. 7. Clique-ish and exclusive culture.

Pros

I love working for an organization whose values match my own. They practice what they preach and give back to the community. I get to provide community mental health support for no cost to the participants or need to bill insurance.

Cons

Currently, there are employees who are doing the work of 1.5-2.0 positions for a single salary. The expectations for productivity may be unrealistic.
