Pros

Friendly coworkers and management. App makes it easy to pick up shifts. Self scheduling is great, especially for float pool nurses who can make their own schedule.

Cons

Bonus pay for extra shifts continues to drop. This greatly decreases pay for float pool nurses who receive differentials for every shift. They were once over $26-32/hr per shift and are now under $10/hr. This encourages staff that would be filling open slots in the schedule to pick up shifts elsewhere. Staffing is short, but that is a national issue.
