Pros

Impossible to get fired, so great job security. Most people are very nice

Cons

Management protects their jobs very carefully. Unwilling/afraid to make the right choice when it contradicts other management

Pros

Nice physical work environment and the employees doing the "hands on" work are dedicated and care about the patients. Very friendly atmosphere.

Cons

Pharmacy department leadership is lacking. They seem to be out of touch with what the working pharmacist actually does and the challenges they face in trying to do extremely stressful job. There is much politics going on at lower management level. Management is so inexperienced as a working pharmacist that they have no clue when you tell them about an issue or problem. Moral and respect for management is very, very low and getting lower all the time.
