Pros

Tight need community of workers, great with patients, some of the best and most knowledgeable people I’ve worked with

Cons

Sometimes over worked in the ER. Mainly due to other ER in the area forced Mercy Open.

Pros

Great coworkers. Real TEAMwork between most of the techs on the floor. Most nurses were a pleasure to work with, highly competent, and really cared about the patients. Therapy staff is top-notch and does excellent work to help the patients achieve their highest abilities. Additional shifts usually available and decent shift bonus structure. Great place to get started on a career in healthcare if you are self motivated and a team player. Physically demanding, but very rewarding work.

Cons

Management was very disjointed. Little follow through to correct or discipline sub-par employees or those that had very bad attitudes and work ethics. They would send out numerous emails to acknowledge issues, but not do anything to actually correct them. Take a look at pay scales. Your Nurses and Techs talk and some were paid a VERY low wage. You can and should do better!
