Pros
Good people who care about the patients. The people who work here are great! Community hospitals have been forced to evolve in the wake of corporate buy-outs, and the results are tragic.
Cons
Staffing is a nightmare. You never know what floor you will be working on from one day to the next, but they have such limited staff, especially nurses, that it’s the only way they can operate, just plugging holes from one shift to the next. Very sad, and stressful to be pulled all over the hospital, especially to ED and ICU where you don’t feel qualified to work.
