Pros

The people. Challenging. Good pay

Cons

My time with Messer was marked by extreme disappointment and a lack of accountability. After dedicating 20 years to this company and consistently excelling as a top-performing sales representative, I experienced six months of relentless workplace abuse, including mobbing, sabotage, and bullying. Management was fully aware of this, as even my customers began noticing the toxic environment. Despite this, my complaints were ignored, delayed, or mishandled entirely. When my family member—also employed by the company—suffered a medical emergency and went on leave, I was asked to cover his territory, which further postponed my official HR complaint. Once I formally reported the abuse six months later, an investigation was launched, but it lacked transparency and accountability. There was no acknowledgment of wrongdoing, no follow-up regarding my well-being, and no meaningful resolution. While the company initiated a diversity and inclusion program shortly afterward, it appeared more like damage control than genuine reform. The psychological toll of working in such a hostile environment was immense. I endured ongoing neglect and new incidents of bullying, which eroded my mental health. Fearing further mishandling, I hesitated to report additional issues, ultimately leading to my termination. Despite my impeccable performance record, strong customer relationships, and a robust sales pipeline, I was abruptly dismissed "for cause"—reasons that were vague and unfounded. I was denied severance and left to pick up the pieces of my career and reputation. What followed was a grueling two-year wrongful termination lawsuit, during which the company used my family member- still employed there—to monitor and antagonize me. Although the case eventually settled in my favor, the damage was irreversible. My career, personal relationships, and trust in others were all profoundly impacted. I suspect my industry reputation was deliberately tarnished, as even my customers were misled about my sudden disappearance. This company views employees not as individuals, but as assets or liabilities. When you're no longer deemed valuable, you're discarded without hesitation. I urge anyone considering employment here to proceed with caution. The culture of neglect and hostility is not worth the toll it may take on your career, mental health, or personal life.

Pros

Bonus has been generous the past couple of years but the company has tighten their budget recently due to slow demand. But overall bonus is good.

Cons

Not enough budget for departments except sales and procurement. Other department lacks attention.
