Pros

The support structure is there for employees who are coming into the workforce and looking to grow. Also room to grow through mid level positions.

Cons

Spent too much time emphasizing return to office and the need to have everyone in one location to do effective work after 18 months of telling us how great we had been from home. Shifted focus from having a flex future schedule where work from home would be acceptable to one where you were only allowed to do it when the company said you could. Also, pay is lagging behind regional competitors and the company is quickly getting picked apart for talent.

Pros

Good benefits, good PTO, remote work available

Cons

Everyone within both STD and LTD are completely overworked. One person is expected to do the work of multiple people. Hard work is not typically rewarded, as management views claims specialists’ as easily replaceable. If you don’t work over 40 hours, you will not meet the goals imposed on you by the department. You will eventually become very burnt out in this position, or any position.
