Pros

Good benefits and decent wages. Some managers are hard working and approachable. There are team leaders and mentors who are fantastic! Work from home opportunities make it great for handicapped or workers with families.

Cons

A constant change of focus causes a lot of anxiety for workers. Was laid off twice in 2 years due to changing contracts. Some managers are rude and inconsistent. Upper level management is out of touch

Pros

Benefits and pay are pretty good

Cons

Everything else. Too much micromanagement drives off workers and leaves a rotating door new hires. Nothing you do is ever good enough. Very negative work environment.

Pros

MetLife is a quality organization and the products are top of the line.

Cons

The pricing makes it difficult to earn a living. Though the MetLife home and auto product is superior it's priced so they serve a very narrow target market. The pricing for that target market is fantastic which leads to low commission payouts couple that with a low closing ratio it's difficult to pay the bills. Dealing with home office is frustrating to say the least, it seems the answer is always no so you have to be relentless in pursuing your matter which takes time away from things that are more important. Trying to get an expense report approved is brutal, expect to submit it between 4-6 times. They are trying to improve the life insurance process but they have a long long way to go.
