Pros

Other than being let go. I'm not a disgruntled employee

Cons

I don't think there is room for all the cons. You raise will be 400.00 to 700.00 a year . You will be told that's a good raise . Working weekends. HR issues with the reps in the field. You will be cursed at, abused and management will look the other way and find you at fault .

Pros

Friendly co workers Casual work environment

Cons

Around 25% of new hires are fired after the initial training phase... It is certainly a position that is not for everybody. Even if you put fourth your best efforts, you may not be detail oriented enough to remember the all the intricacies (which follow no general principles) that you are expected to somehow master. Antiquated technology Stressful Salary is low Extreme expense management (bring your own cups, never any food provided by company) 30 minute lunch break limit (basically means you have to bring your own food because there is no time to pick it up)

Pros

In the past, MetLife allowed a great amount of location flexibility, with IT facilities all over the country. They offered good pay and good bonuses (during their good years), benefits are pretty standard for the industry. My co-workers were dedicated and willing to overwork, because they had to!

Cons

The environment is one of extremely high stress. Management has laid off really good workers in order to hire cheaper, less competent employees.
