Pros

Some peers are supportive and helpful.

Cons

Salaried employées working 10-12 hour days with no additional compensation or accommodations. Low retention employment in claims department, claims management systems are unreliable and unorganized, communication between support groups (STD, sales, account managers, clinicians, vocational, legal) is poor. Poor vetting of new hires and poor training and expectations from management of what trainees can handle. Management and leadership not interested in employee's opinions or making recommended changes to better employee's experiences. Not competitive with salaries. Recommendations for any process change is not met with any enthusiasm and is ignored despite making good business sense,
