Pros

The money is good working from home is great

Cons

I started working at MetLife in March 2020. I had a Stroke that paralyzed my entire left side. I loved my job, to be honest. And I worked very hard and did a lot of overtime whenever they asked or needed me to. But, after the stroke, I ultimately ended up losing my job and had to fight endlessly with the disability department to get my money. Training is not the greatest; Everything is highly concentrated on business needs and very little on individual people.

Pros

Some coworkers were supportive and helpful despite the company's poor handling of pay and employee concerns.

Cons

I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice. Long story short, pay grades changed, and despite still performing the work for the higher pay grade, I was never moved to the correct level. When I raised the issue, I was met with constant runarounds and conflicting explanations. When I escalated the matter to Employee Relations, they relied on information from a supervisor who wasn’t even with the company at the time and essentially dismissed my concerns. They also refused to provide any written correspondence, insisting on only discussing the issue over the phone—seemingly to avoid accountability. For two years, I was underpaid, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, the issue remains unresolved. If fair compensation and transparency matter to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
