Pros

Above average compensation including bonuses; great benefits.

Cons

- No work life balance or work from home options. Employees are asked to be in the office even when working late. - It takes way too long for promotions and employees are promoted to managers on the basis of seniority even if they lack the skills. - Lower and middle managers are often kept out and do not really make decisions. - The company is going through transformation and there might be more layoffs coming.

Constant stress

Business Outlook

Pros

Good salary and benefits

Cons

It is difficult to stay focused and be driven to exceed your goals when lay-offs are constantly happening or are being threatened. Even if your division is not actively being downsized they will send in "consultants" to analyze the work to see if it can be outsourced so everything just feels like it is a matter of time before they get rid of you so you remain unmotivated to achieve anything. There are great people working here that are treated really poorly.

Pros

Work life balance. The culture is good and the people are great to work with. Certain managers are great to work for.

Cons

Pay is horrible compared to peers at other companies. Investments needs to break out from insurance company
