Pros

Metlife has processes to take good care of employees- competitive pay, health insurance, retirement plan, etc.

Cons

It is a reall big, compartmentalized company, thus there is a heirarchical chasm between executive leadership and the boots on the ground- few people get to know their senior leadership or feel like they get more than just the scripted insights into what is happening in the company.

Pros

The benefits are good, and there are opportunities to learn and build your career through working in different areas.

Cons

Too many times, senior leaders who can't lead are allowed to have a bad affect on good lines of business and the people who work under them.
