Pros

* Comp is competitive, but not top of market * Interesting work, and lots of it * Majority of managers and ICs in legal are legitimately smart and kind

Cons

* Morale and toxicity of environment is as bad as reputed * Little to no internal mobility and practically no promotion availability past mid-levels, even for those who have been operating at the next level for years * HR neuters internal comms to the point of absurdity; most reliable internal information comes from the New York Times, Business Insider, Reuters, etc. * Leadership behavior is purely reactive and if there's a long-term vision for the company or the department, no one seems to be able to articulate it * Company as a whole shifts strategy and posture at the whims of Mark Zuckerberg, who seems to be on a failing quest to prove that the "good executor, bad ideator" narrative about him is wrong
