You can be one of the top performing members of your team but for reasons known only to executive leaders, your job can end at a moment's notice.

Its both a pro and a con but it felt like you needed to justify to engineering leadership why documentation is important by providing metrics. It was definitely more data-driven approach but there are some benefits to documentation that's difficult to quantify.
