Pros

Great co-workers overall with a few bad eggs that just seem to cause issues.

Cons

Pressure to over achieve. To many cooks in the kitchen, and I'm not talking about LTD.

Pros

Facebook's products are used by more people than anything else. The company's mission -- to connect the world -- is good. There are many, many choices of projects for software engineers and you get to pick your team.

Cons

Facebook is a big company with rules. If you are a software engineer, you are compared to all other software engineers. If you do part of the job of a software engineer and part of the job of a something-else (PM, manager, analyst, etc), it will be hard to evaluate you. Also, it is common to have a lot of manager changes.

Pros

Great atmosphere - people come from all background. This has been the most diverse campus I've worked on so far. There's plenty of resources around to help you shape up and improve your current skills. Free food is always a bonus.

Cons

Gained 10 pounds after starting here. As a contractor, it's extremely difficult to become a full time employee, but at least you get some experience and you're able to put a great name on your resume.
