Pros

You will be surrounded by smart people, who all pull their own weight and more. You get to cook up new solutions to completely new problems. You will be given an array of opportunities to learn and improve in whatever you do. The tooling is amazing, and really helps you get to the real, interesting work instead of being a source of frustration. The perks are nice, too.

Cons

Facebook is not for the faint of heart. We work hard.

Pros

- Open culture and a very cool CEO - Very talented people, some of them whom are famous in their fields - People feel empowered at all levels and get equal respect - You can participate in every aspect of the company through various means - Employees enjoy sort of celebrity status and get public attention probably because- 1) not too many people work at Facebook 2) FB is in news every minute 3)almost a billion people spend a lot of time on FB 4)quite a few people want to work at Facebook. - Strong brand to have on your resume: You start getting interview offers from many competitors and other companies as soon as you join Facebook, which is kinda nice.

Cons

- Too much media focus. It seems like the media and the world is constantly talking Facebook, which can sometime be overwhelming - Everybody seems to have a question or an opinion on Facebook, and oftentimes you have to answer it. I remember an immigration officer at an aiport asking me "How can I turn of timeline?" lol - The overall experience of working at Facebook could be overwhelming. People are really driven and smart, so you need to be on your toes all the time.
