Pros

Staff, cafeteria is decent. A lot of diversity which is great

Cons

After working here for some time, it’s become clear that employee safety during hazardous conditions isn’t truly a priority. When the roads are iced over, calling in due to inclement weather still results in a write-up, as if the risk to personal safety is irrelevant. It’s hard to understand the value of disciplinary action when the alternative is potentially not making it to work at all. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed since Snowvid, which makes the situation feel especially discouraging.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We value your contributions and appreciate your commitment to our diverse and mission-driven team. Employee safety remains a top priority at Methodist, particularly during hazardous conditions. When severe weather impacts operations, we work to communicate expectations clearly and apply our attendance policies consistently. That said, we understand individual experiences may vary, and we welcome ongoing feedback to help us better support our staff during these times. We encourage you to share your concerns directly with your leader or Human Resources so we can address them with care and attention.

Pros

Great culture among employees at this specific Methodist Hospital location Leadership knows their employees well

Cons

Leadership won't fill empty position created by loss of employee despite its importance to our goals and patient experience metrics Budget cuts putting more responsibility on me without compensation for added responsibility Leadership making me feel like my position and job is not as important as others in the hospital who make money for the corporation

Pros

Parking is free for those that worked in the executive offices.

Cons

Not a progressive organization. No flexibility to work from home even though other Dallas hospitals offer assistants flexibility. Time off is standard.
