Pros
. Hours can be adjustable . Projects are interesting . Occasional lunch, snacks, beer, etc. . Macbook provided . Some good devs
Cons
. Sometimes promises made to client without asking devs, or devs assigned to work on tasks they're not comfortable on, resulting in an chaotic work day . To maximize profit, the company doesn't drop problematic clientele enough . Not clear or non-existant policies, poor training, managers/leads have different expectations . Paid rate varies even between employees with same job, benefits not great . Little chance for raise or promotion . Bro culture . Depending on where you are, workspace is tight squeeze and sometimes messy
