Pros

Time off and pensions. New transit free ridership for RTA operators

Cons

Senior level directors and chiefs micro manage and new/innovative ideas are not invited. Very little flexibility in work schedule. Any increased compensation is difficult to obtain.

Pros

It’s really no good reason to work for metra it was the pay and free healthcare but that’s changed other railroad and fighting to get more pay but not metra even the union chairman is horrible he really to us he doesn’t get a care about our contract wow so i pay 134 for this ???

Cons

Management is horrible they make people forman who were terrible workers no communication skills, and does not get along with employees only because of their afraid Of being sue again so people get positions based if they have a lawsuit or not it’s full of nepotism you have a brother who a Director and his brother is a forman in which he talk to people any type of way because of the rank of his brother then you have a dad and son pair just horrible son wasn’t there or have training to be a forman but his dad got him in
