Metra is a good company for those who are just starting out in the industry (entry-level) or for those about to retire. Half of their workforce is above the age of 50 so it's a great opportunity to get in, learn the industry and gain some knowledge.

Cons

The company wants to be innovative and change but is held back by a management team that is lives by the mantra "we have always done it this way." Change is slow, if at all, and you will find that in some ways the environment is very click-ish. If you don't KNOW someone in upper management it's hard to get noticed at times.
