Pros

Reduced train fair, discount to NYC attractions nice retirement plan, union position now so added employment protection

Cons

The department was in transition when I worked there. It was a little stressful as management was firing alot of longterm employees. Position was not union at the time.

Pros

It’s a good job to start out if you just graduated college or have no college degree. Health Insurance Premium is $0, Pensión, Union, Opportunity for growth, bonus incentive every quarter, you can do OT.

Cons

Last quarter only 15 out of thousands of employees got the bonus… In order to get the bonus You have to meet you quarterly goal If you don’t meet your quotas in the first year you are terminated ( if your boss hates you) if your boss doesn’t suck they will set up an action plan. You have to meet at least 85% of your goal to not get fired. You have to meet 120% to receive your bonus. In order to make the amount of numbers they are asking you gotta push OT everyday. Once you stop pushing OT it can be a problem, you are left without a work/life balance. We are forced to work two saturdays a month, sometimes 6 in a row so for a month and a half your killing yourself. Even if you are unionized you can’t get representation in the first year if you are not meeting Quotas your out. Most associates last three to six months. The job is not Sales It’s like social work I have sales experience, it’s not sales. When you sell QHPs at full price thats sales.

Pros

Management is terrible. They don’t care about their employees, just numbers and money. Employment is a revolving door. They have no respect for the ‘little people’. They have supervisors that don’t deserve their positions, don’t know the job, and run a dictatorship with bullying, threats, and belittling.

Cons

Horrible management, terrible communication skills between departments, and absolutely NO respect for employees.
