Pros

Honestly, there really were no great benefits.

Cons

Terrible management who don't care about the people we work for, awful health care benefits, limited PTO, no work from home even though all work was telephonic based, extremely lazy coworkers, no recognition for good work, expected to work late/weekends during audits with no benefits

Pros

It's a city job so you have great benefits

Cons

Nobody is on the same page. You ask the same question to 5 people and you will get 5 different answers. Some managers are also very petty and two faced.

Pros

The newly appointed CEO is evaluating the entire organization and implementing changes to better benefit members and employees. Quality of care to our members is at the forefront. There is also a genuine effort to process improve and hold people accountable. The organization offers great benefits, including, a no-cost health plan for employees, access to perks for city employees, etc. The individuals at the organization truly do care about making a difference in the lives of New Yorkers and helping those who are the most vulnerable

Cons

As is true for any government agency, there is red tape, however, several resources are available to help navigate all of that.
