Pros

I've been employed with Metro Plus for 15 years. I can say that I have grown in this company and had several promotions since my start here. Metro Plus has demonstrated that I am valued as an employee. Metro Plus has a very diverse population. I interact daily with staff of all levels. As an employee, I am treated with respect and my input matters and always considered.

Cons

Sometimes, there's a disconnect between other department and ours, where they fail to communicate changes that may affect other areas, other than their own.

Pros

I enjoy my time with Metroplus learned a lot about healthcare and opened my interest in the healthcare management. Consistent schedule with very great benefits. Bring your kid to work and Customer Service yearly acknowledgement event.

Cons

Mandatory overtime, long hours at times and work was very repetitive as any call center environment can be. Staff was very unprofessional and played favoritism. Quota was heavily set on number of calls then quality of service. Mentally draining death with many irate callers .

Pros

- No longer being there! - City Benefits (Pension)

Cons

- Hiring/promoting unqualified staff (Messes up the flow of the good things that are happening at the company) - Too much favoritism - Staff complaints are not handled confidentially - Gossip and rumors are rampant - Big egos from some management staff - Not being able to retain good workers
