Business Outlook
Pros
Salary for the analysis work was very competitive in the marketplace. Metron was quite flexible with my work hours; I was able to telecommute and still effectively supported the contract work to which I was assigned. HR was proactive and kept employees well informed.
Cons
Because I was primarily a telecommuter, I did not meet most of the company leadership. However, there were opportunities and senior management did not make an effort to engage or get to know me. As a part-time employee I received few benefits, which translated to feeling somewhat like an outsider and not part of the team. As a result, there was disinterest in further career development or opportunities outside of one specific contract.
