- Open and honest communication between leadership and employees
- Interesting work
- Collaborative environment
- Amazing co-workers who are always happy to help out where possible
- Work/life balance is great. Not expected to work overtime (standard 40 hrs/week), but if you do, you get paid 1x. Great incentive to prevent overwork and to reward employees who do have to work overtime due to deadlines / supporting test events.
Cons
Typical work churn due to the nature of working on government contracts. Sometimes you have more work than you can support, sometimes you don't have enough work to support everyone. Layoffs are treated as a last resort, but they do happen.
Good benefits, open/welcoming people, understanding workplace, caring CEO/higher-ups, help you balance work and life, best handling of Covid for any company I've heard, treat everyone like they're real people and not just a means to get their product, keeps employees in the loop about how/what the company is doing
Cons
It's a small company so everyone is already fairly close, meaning getting into groups or connecting closer than just acquaintance level with people can be a bit hard in the beginning
