Pros

It’s rewarding to be part of a massive team responsible for keeping the entire city moving. Free MetroCard(Literally $130/month) and MNR/LIRR passes are an OK perk.

Cons

Poor management structure with outdated leadership that shows little interest in growth, innovation, or employee development. Advancement opportunities are minimal. Many employees are just here for the 9–5 and seem disconnected from the broader mission. The workplace culture often feels stagnant, making it difficult to attract or retain passionate, talented people.
