Pros

Great place to work. Excellent benefits and atmosphere. The City of Miami is great about training and cross training its employees to be able to assist in different departments.

Cons

Politics can sometimes create an upheaval in the structure in which we do business. Transitions in power can be better.

Pros

Miami has a good benefits package, inclusive of a pension program and comprehensive medical benefits. Goverment discounts are also available to City employees.

Cons

The nepotism and cronism in the City of Miami is at an all time high. Over qualified people are looked over for positions that under qualified people are being hired for.
