I love working with our students, who come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience to our classrooms. There are tremendous resources available for teaching, research, and service.

Cons

There are downsides at every institution. I do not have any significant complaints. I wish we could pay adjuncts more.

Miami University is a great employer in the Ohio area. Absolutely would suggest to anyone to work for MU, at any level, be it in the administration or in the classroom.

Cons

I don't have many bad things to say about Miami University. The only problem is the location, which is in the middle of nowhere in Ohio. The town around it, Oxford, is a classic college town, and you have to like that kind of area
