Pros
The environment is very collaborative and encouraging. Faculty and staff tend to be rather positive and great to work with. Students are generally - though not always - motivated and attentive.
Cons
One negative about teaching low level courses at a university is that students need support as they become more independent. There are students who don't yet know how to communicate professionally with faculty or manage their time well, and the result can make your job harder.
