      Miami Dining Services as a Student Worker

      Flexible working hours, opportunity to move up into a manager role, great place to start learning job skills, especially in customer service, great addition to a student resume

      Cons

      Low salary, little to no benefits, strict management, little consideration to employee wellbeing while working long hours, training is nonexistent before being thrown into the work environment

      It is a very well known university, the professors are amazing, the city of Oxford is amazing and so beautiful as well as the campus

      Cons

      The students are complete morons, all they care about is getting drunk as much as possible

      Pros

      Great hours, work when you want. Easy to add/drop shifts. Work at the rec center and have made plenty of great friends. Very understanding for if you cannot work and need a sub. World class facilities.

      Cons

      Pay discrepancies between campus jobs. Have to work early mornings or late nights every other week. Lots of training days. Expected to work over the breaks also.
