      Pros

      Insurance is great. Some of the students are exceptional. There is some freedom in teaching/curriculum development. Culture is supportive, generally.

      Cons

      Opportunities for future work are misleading. VAPs are not included in the unionization effort. There is very little time and little to no money to do research or publish.
