Pros

Theyre are no pros in this company

Cons

If you can get over the fact that there are sex offenders working beside you and if you suck up to the micromanagers enough you may do good there. Morally its a very degrading place to work especially if you have a family. Family days yet they employ sex offenders?

Pros

The Initial Interview and people you meet are great. The Training outside of the plant is outstanding if you go to Greenville, SC. Pay is set as a "median" for the industry. Hardworking employees that actually do the production. Work-life balance is good for salary, but at the cost of wage employees.

Cons

Upper Management continues to make the wage force smaller each year, while forcing middle management to "drive progress" or make the wage population work more hours with less. Ardmore plant has practiced this until they have reduced the hiring population in their small town to little over 3%. Training is great, but practice of their Michelin Ethics is not in effect for senior leadership. Making a buck at the cost of the little man is the name of the game for this once great industrial giant. Quality and safety is preached as priority, but remains third behind profit and production.

Pros

Flexible overtime They didn't lay off during Covid Ramp up. Training is available

Cons

Its a Boys Club culture. IF you are not brown nosing or a yes man . You will never move up. NEVER. They are not open to new ideas or suggestions. If you QUESTION those who have been there for decades THEY WILL get offended and roll their eyes at you for any suggestions you make. They belittle you and put you on the spotlight while they humiliate you in front of your superiors. This applies to all Uniroyal/BFGoodrich plants located in the small towns. Diversity does not exist here, the only diversity you will see is the effort to promote white women to managerial roles. If you are of color, YOU WILL NEVER get promoted here especially if you are a colored women. The grass is not always green , sometime its just fake grass. Please look somewhere else.
