      work very well to balance a student lifestyle

      Pros

      Your bosses and fellow employees are all students, except for the building management, so it is very easy to quickly learn and get comfortable with what is expected of you. An enjoyable place to be especially with all the opportunities to work unique events along with the traditional games that have always been held there.

      Cons

      No real problems besides some of the positions for the shifts require long hours of standing in one position.

      Pros

      I was able to find a job at Michigan State as undergrad pretty easily. I had a few different research jobs, and as long as you find a professor that is friendly and understanding, the work is enjoyable. In general MSU professors are pretty down-to-earth. It is easy to make lasting relationships with them.

      Cons

      I've heard from my professors and advisors that because of MSU's large size the structure is fairly bureaucratic. It takes awhile to approve things. Pay attention to deadlines.
