Pros

The crew that works there are very hard working, friendly people. Some really cool regular customers who are so kind and friendly (if you're there long enough to strike up that positive relationship.)

Cons

Some of the Mangers. Though some of the upper/mid-level staff are great people. The occasional crazy customers. (Because of that Cambridge bag-ban, customers will hate you personally for ten cents a bag. )

Pros

The medical benefits are second to none. Very good plans with some having a $500 deductible is fairly hard to beat any where.

Cons

The pay on the floor is for the most part $4 an hour plus commission. You end up doing so much merchandising on the floor during store open hours, especially before and after holidays, that you do not get a lot of time to actually sell and make the commission you need for a good paycheck. Also they over staff for holidays so bad, your hours and commission are fairly low. If you do not work in the Systems Department where you do not have to merchandise all day like other Departments, you really don't get to make a lot of money.

As an organization, it's important to us that our associates have an excellent compensation and benefits package. Thank you for acknowledging the benefits package. As far as compensation, our program is set up to allow associates to earn more money by providing customers with a total solution. Being in a commission environment allows associates to earn more by helping more customers and we've made enhancements to increase the time associates can spend with customers. Pros

Flexible work schedule (great for school schedule), relaxed supervisors, motivates you to get a better job, most supervisors are easy to get along with, 24 hr notice to call off without penalty

Cons

No AC (100°+), very unorganized, old tech, super boring, hard work, severely underpaid, terrible benefits, little to no raise/promotions, rarely OT opportunities
