Learn about new technology out or coming soon, get discounts on it, first dibs :)

Cons

Long hours of standing, lots of pressure to help customers that frown, pushing replacement plans, both physically and mentally exhausting at times.

Fun place to work with a mediocre pay structure

Pros

-Fun environment -Meet people with similar interests (if you're the type of person that's interested in working at Micro Center) -To certain extent, the harder your work the more you make

Cons

-While the position is commission based, you've REALLY got a grind your tail off to max out your avg. hourly rate (around $20 an hour at best--which is decent if you're a student, single person, etc.) - Even if you DO grind your tail off, it might not even matter, and some days are just slow - It's a retail job...need I say more?
