Somewhat low pay but better than any other computer shop

Micro Center is a great retail store that holds its employees up to standards that I have never seen at any other retail store. They deliver great customer service and provide effective solutions for customers. The downside to this is it requires a lot of micro managing, merchandising and getting paid only $4 an hour. Out of a 10 hour working day, almost 4 hours are spent working truck, projects, and cleaning. Accounting for the lunch hour, that only leaves 5 real hours of sales to be done. On top of that when you're already tired of hauling and moving and selling all day long, you barely have anytime to do anything when you get home because you have to get right back to work in a few hours. If you're planning on working here, just be part time. Part Timers end up making almost just as much as full time but with close to half the responsibilities and hours.
