The pay is dismal
They pay minimum wage for overtime: 4$/hr base pay, 1.5 percent commission on first item, 2.5% each additional item, 10% on service plans. Overtime hours are all given during nonselling hours, before the store opens or after it closes, whereby they can just multiply the base pay of $4 by 1.5 coming out to $6 an hour.
Additionally 8-10 you are paid on commission despite the store not being open. Same goes for 9-10 closing.
Management is rude and lacks human decency.
It's technically a sales position but expect to do a LOT of merchandising. General sales puts virtually all the product up on shelves and pegs twice a week. Truck is nearly an all day event, for which you will still be paid based on commission.
A lot of time is spent doing hourly type work for a commission based wage.
