Pros

- You get to work with new technology and learn a lot about them - Friendly environment - Easy to move up (sales floor) if you are good at your job - Everyone plays Clash of Clans

Cons

- Hourly pay for all sales members is $4/hr + commission. (If you work a truck shift your not making much money) - Constant pressure to meet your goals - Some managers will have you do "busy work" when its slow and there is nothing else to do. - A lot of customers feel entitled - More physical labor than other sales jobs - You are not valued as an employee to upper-management and are seen as expendable regardless of your performance - Management prefers to out source job before considering internal employees for a raise

Almost a good job

Pros

Some good managers at the store level. You will learn a lot if you put in the effort. Pay isn't bad for retail, but very inconsistent. If you work harder, you will make more money. You can work as much as you want. Management doesn't have to work a million hours a week like most retail.

Cons

-Some disconnect at the corporate level. -Declining pay. -Managers are underpaid. -No real path to management without taking pay cut. -Brutally wild swing in shift hours. (they have improved on this some with no more clopens). -Sales staff is always given tons of projects to do and not enough time to do them in. Which means the time you are suppose to spend helping customers and earning commission dollars, you instead have to spend on some menial task. Then they harp on customer service scores and surveys when customers rightly complain they can't get help. It's a bit ridiculous. Sales staff should specialize in and focus on selling and taking care of customers. Not running around doing project after project at $4 an hour. -Sales staff spends at or over 1/4 of their scheduled hours during non-sales hours.
