Pros

micro center is a great company to work for. starting from good opportunities to grow and develop as an associate, leader, technician, supervisor, or manager. We receive good feed back from management that really helps us fix our mistakes or change bad habits to good traits that help you move forward to make a customer for life and definitely a higher salary. We have a terrific staff that includes super friendly and extremely knowledgeable associates. management is lenient, but strict when needed. A plus is the flexible work schedule that you can create; if you go to school, have multiple jobs, or have a family. All in all working for micro center has been a great experience.

Cons

there is not much to complain about, except for customers in New York being tedious to work with. I have nothing negative to say at this time.

Pros

Micro Center has a family-like atmosphere and takes great care of their employees. There great benefits and many options for advancement. If you are looking for a different "seat on the bus" whether through advancement or transferring departments, Micro Center and their management staff are more than willing to help you grow into the position you desire. Employees take great pride when comparing the knowledge level and look/feel here in Micro Center to a "big box" retail chain. The difference is recognized by customers on a regular basis. The saying "quality over quantity" comes to mind. While you can bump into a Best Buy, Staples or PC Richard's on any street corner, Micro Center is a "destination store." Customers have driven from hours away just to get the level of customer service that is the standard here. It is great feeling to know that you are part of a company that makes a person drive that far or pay a little more just to receive that level of service.

Cons

Customers in New York are not the easiest to please at times; this sometimes creates a stressful work environment.

Pros

pretty much everything pc/tech related under one roof. Bought the parts for my pc here as well any odds and ends i needed around the house. Its a fun place to work at for sure.

Cons

just some technical issues(POS system is a tad outdated and sometimes glitches happen) but that happens everywhere.
