Pros

The company, in theory, values giving the customer the best solution for them, as opposed to suggesting the most expensive item. Upselling isn't discouraged, but misleading is a customer is.

Cons

The company policy is very lenient. One can get away with quite a bit before being fired. As a result, weak leadership will lead to sales associates exploiting their peers, shirking their responsibilities while taking all of the good sales. If you're fortunate enough to have a good supervisor, you will be rewarded and recognized for your work. If your manager is a pushover, the bad apple is going to get all of the good sales while you keep your department tidy.

Pros

None that I can honestly report - it used to be a good company. Insurance was good.

Cons

Salaries are not competitive, corporate headquarters location discriminates against people with disabilities, people of color and women.

Unfortunately, this post contains many inaccuracies as this associate was not terminated due to a disability. She requested several accommodations which were granted. Over time, she was not able to come to work and exhausted all of her leave. She submitted a resignation letter and we worked out a transition to assist her since she had been employed for over 10 years. We work very hard to maintain a professional work environment and I'm sorry that this associate feels differently.

Pros

They're all about customer service, saving people money, you get commission, and can call out whenever. Store manager is a great leader/ funny. Cool people you work with. some customers can be really cool

Cons

Management doesn't know how to manage. They favorite a lot of people. Management doesn't know how to treat customers. Front end has so much drama that doesn't need to be in the workforce. They like to fire people for doing nothing wrong. The customers can get a little crazy. But the management doesn't do anything. except eat in the cash office.
