Pros

Higher pay than similar stores. Decent benefits even for part time workers including paid vacation time. Employee discount.

Cons

Some policies are overly complicated. Almost every employee has many more responsibilities than at similar workplaces. Some are stretched much too thin.

Pros

Fairly laid back, good supervisors / managers. Friendly. It is an easy job to do comparatively and for the pay. Management is friendly, helpful, and good to work with.

Cons

Pay is inconsistent, frustrating to want to do more for the store but be unable to do anything about it. Hours are long and inconsistent, but that is retail.

Pros

The associates (non management) are generally very good people to work with. Teamwork among associates is frequent and one of the companies strengths. Being able to share your employee pricing with friends and family a few times a year is a nice gesture.

Cons

The scheduling of a salaried managers time is extremely lopsided in the companies favor. Corporate involvement is rarely positive. At the store level there are sometimes departmental walls between the retail, service, and operations teams that prevent them from working together effectively.
