      Pros

      I’ve had some great interactions with management. But they haven’t had the same culture at work since Greg Moore left. Usually you will have great coworkers within your department.

      Cons

      Having a manic manager who would go around speaking behind your back is crazy. Couldn’t have acted anymore unprofessional at times with a shrill high pitched voice. The lack of decorum at times was stressful.

      Labor per hour pay model fuels constant need for upselling. Technician is also expected to run counter and field customer calls.

Micro Center does have an incentive-based environment, which allows technicians to earn additional income/commission on top of their salary based on their performance. We're constantly evaluating compensation structures and looking for ways to improve efficiency for technicians, including workload distribution, to ensure a balance between customer service and technical expertise.
