Pros

Can be a great job if you are in college and you are just looking for some work experience and possibly some extra funds. The job is commission based and it can be really tough sometimes to make a good days pay. Also most times you have to be concerned about who is trying to steal each other's sales because there are co workers that just don't care.

Cons

Not much room to grow. Scheduling can be very bad at times. Management only cares about looking good and is hardly concerned with employee morale and what affects it.

Pros

Good people to work with and for. Benefits package for full-time workers is good, and comparable to other companies. Hard work gets rewarded. There are opportunities for advancement and leadership.

Cons

- Communication from corporate is inefficient and often contradictory—instructions from managers can change drastically from month to month as they test out different strategies. - Compensation is mostly based on commission, and therefore seasonal and irregular. Spring and Summer are slow shopping seasons, and your paycheck will reflect that. - The work schedule is erratic and random. Do not expect regular hours. Sometimes you won't get your schedule for the week until two days before the week starts. It's difficult to schedule a lifestyle around such a schedule. Expect to perform a "Clopen" a few times—that's when you work a closing shift until late at night, and then have to get up early the next morning to open the store. (Close + Open = Clopen)
