Pros

Somewhat Flexible hours, good benefits, management is not overbearing. Really not much more good about it beyond that. Oh, the way they scale the absent/vacation time is OK.

Cons

Working 7am - 10am before the store is open and 9pm - 11pm for $4.00 really hurts your paycheck as you make no commission during this time, also add responsibilities such as merchandising an aisle by yourself during commission hours taps on more lost wages due to lost sales. If you work in the PC department you have to keep your numbers high otherwise they boot you out of the department. Overall if your looking to make money, you won't find much here without driving yourself crazy.

Pros

Even part timers get paid vacation time. Employee discounts are pretty good on some things. You can make money if you work hard as a salesperson.

Cons

I was not fired but management will fire employees for illegitimate reasons. You may need to stay as late as 11 or 11:30 pm to go home even though your schedule says 10:00 pm. Management will get rewarded for working their employees to death by corporate. Employees will receive NO rewards for hard work.

Pros

-Competitive compensation -Competitive medical package -Extremely interactive management team -Clear goals (albeit inconsistent among groups at times) -Family friendly in respect to PTO, etc. -Generally a positive environment -Relatively flat management hierarchy (also a con, see below) -Many if not most employees passionate about what they do, especially in management positions

Cons

-Flat management hierarchy - little room for career advancement in most groups -ZERO retirement security - no 401K match, no pension -Worst corporate office building I have ever stepped foot into - Drab, brown, dark, packed full of people, cluttered, and not a single window in the building
