      Work-life balance and culture are OK.

      Cons

      Very frugal and it reflects on every single aspect. Offices are boring, not an inspire place to work, no good perks, compensation is well below average. Only OK place to work if you are in Arizona and ready to retire. Do not take a job offer here unless it's your only option, you will not be happy.

      Very stable company. Good place to retire out of.

      Cons

      Very monotonous. Very stable company comes with no drive or ambition. Compensation is low for the industry. Microchip's internal nickname is Microcheap, and boy to they show it. Lack of personal means Microchip is always chasing the market. It will always be around but will never be the leader. There is nothing 'fun' or exciting or rewarding in the job, it feels like mostly punishment.
