      Pros

      Microchip offers great benefits, from the Medical, Dental and Vision to the ESPP program. The group I work with communicates very well; therefore, it makes our jobs better and more enjoyable

      Cons

      Don't have any. Not perfect but better than many other companies.

      I have worked as an Engineer for Microchip for 20+ years and find the culture and empowerment to be very rewarding and fulfilling. We are a company of constant continuous improvement in all aspects.

      I don't have anything of significance that is negative.

      * Same work so don't need to use brain * Paid retirement life while you are working

      Cons

      * full of politics for raise and promotion * Promotion(3-4% salary increase) or raise(1-2% salary increase) give as a favor in such bad economy( it always bad for them) * Manager can not digest innovative idea from Juniors.
