      Pros

      Great place to work. The company lives its values - they are not just for display. Strong culture and a very fair company to work for.

      Cons

      Happy employees don't leave and tend to stay forever. Due to this opportunities don't come by often. However, growth still does provide for some.

      Pros

      One very good thing about Microchip is that there are no layoffs. I have never seen a person getting fired in downtime. They give lot of restricted stocks and shares over the time which is really good. Also, very relaxed work environment with almost nil work pressure. You can actually have lot of fun while you are in Microchip.

      Cons

      Management doesn't take any risks which can be sometimes considered as con.
