As a representative of Human Resources, I would like to respond to your statement about letting people go prior to doing our due diligence. Human Resources always strives to make thoroughly-informed decisions, especially when a person’s job is at stake. In fact, it is our internal practice to make every effort to avoid terminating employees, especially when there are other options for performance management.
